Unexplained Happenings In Kwethluk
Last night around 12:27 A.M. the Akiuk High School Girls team went to bed, except for the ones who couldn't sleep. That night, I tried going to bed, but the room was too hot, so I just laid in my sleeping bag. I got up between 1:30 and 2:00 in the morning, wanting to use the bathroom, so I stood up and was about to head out, and I looked over to the corner and saw that Minnie and Marie awake. I walked toward them and sat down, and then I asked them if they wanted to fallow me to the bathroom, and they said yeah. We were about to stand up when the door cracked open, and we saw that a man or a teenage boy peeking. We got so scared and ended up staying, and I really needed to use the bathroom. Not long after, Jacquie woke up and explained that she heard someone running, in her sleep, and trying to pull her sleeping bag. And we said that we heard and saw someone in the building. And right then, we started thinking there was a phantom in the building. Through out the night, we've been hearing and seeing some dude cracking the door open and peeking into our room. Deana Berlin woke up a while after, and we explained to her what had happened, and Minnie and Marie were by the door, listening to whoever was out in the hallway. Couple minutes passed, and we all decided to check out into the lobby. It seemed like there was no one in the building, and one of the girls decided to check the front door, which appeared to be unlocked. We all got so scared, and I started shaking. Minnie decided to check to see if the door was really unlocked, so she went out and shut the door as much as it could, and right then she opened it. We got so scared and walked to the room as fast as we could, and stayed in there. We weren't even thinking to wake up Deanna, or Esai. Which was really stupid. We were so tired, and we couldn't sleep, so we ended up staying awake. 10 or 15 minutes before six, we heard someone walking into Napaskiak Girls' room, and out the back door, and there, we saw a man or a teenage boy looking at us... he wore dark clothes, and we could not recognize him. I asked Minnie who he was, and she said she couldn't see. That person walked toward the emergency exit door, and when he opened it, he looked back at us and smiled and exit out the door. Either Jacquie or one of the girls that were awake yelled "Wake up!" and everyone woke up, and we explained that there was a man who left out the door. Seemed like Deanna couldn't believe us, so she went to go ask the lady who was watching the Napaskiak Girls. She came back not long after and said that they didn't see or hear anyone going into their room, and told us to go to bed. Marie and I couldn't go to bed, and decided to go work on our homework out in the hallway. Throughout the day, the girls who were awake that night were so tired and cranky, but for some of the girls, they were hyper and tired, just like me. We had a crazy night that day, an unforgettable night!

Something That Bothered Me This Week
Something that bothered me this week was my brothers, because they're always fighting everyday. Everyday after school I go home to loudness, never quiet. We can never get a chance of quietness, when the boys are in the house, which is really annoying. When I went home from school, I came in, and my brothers ran into the room, and one of them were chasing, yelling. I tried telling them to be quiet, but they would never listen. So I just left them alone, and fight.
Whenever one of them fight, one of them has to join them, including my sister. And one of my parents would stop them.
When they all left the house, the house got really quiet and peaceful. One time, I was out of Kasigluk for 2 weeks, and it was nice to be out for like 4 days. I missed being at home, and one of the weirdest things was that I missed the loudness that came from my brothers and my sister, and also the yelling from my parents, telling my brothers to stop fighting. Even if my brothers are loud and annoying most times, I still love them. :] I have to go now!
